Justin H. Dartt, CPA

Justin H. Dartt, CPA, is a Carmi, Illinois native.  At an early age, Justin enjoyed helping on the family farm and assisting with his family’s excavation business. He graduated valedictorian of his class from Carmi-White County High School.  Justin furthered his education by attending the University of Southern Indiana where he completed dual Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Accounting and Professional Services and Finance. During Justin’s senior year, he was awarded the Wanda B. Hibbitts Accounting Scholarship.

Justin began his professional career in 2013.  In August 2020, he passed the Uniform CPA exam.  Growing up in rural Carmi, he has broad knowledge and experience with agriculture, oil production, and small business.

In 2017, Justin formed Dartt & Company, LLC where he provides one on one services to his clients.  Being from Carmi, a rural agriculture and oil community, Justin has the capability of relating to many of his clients.  He understands both the ups and downs that individuals and businesses experience throughout the year.  His goal is to relieve the pressure caused by tax and accounting issues by providing valuable tax and professional services to his clients.  

Justin serves the community on various civic boards.  He has served as the as President of the Carmi Chamber of Commerce, President of the Carmi Kiwanis Club, President of the Egyptian Health Department Board of Health, and Treasurer of the White County Economic Development Committee while serving as a Board of Director for each organization.  His other memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society, and First Christian Church of Carmi where he serves as a Deacon and the Treasurer.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, and son, Collin.  In his spare time, Justin enjoys golfing, boating, and hunting with friends and family.
